Scope

Oakgrove Format Lab publishes editorial analysis of television formats, on-air public speaking conventions, and broadcast journalism structural practices. We do not publish news, opinion on political matters, consumer advice, or financial commentary.

Topic Selection

Topics are selected based on their relevance to the structural analysis of broadcast formats. We consider whether a topic falls within our stated thematic scope, whether it can be addressed without fabricating data or sources, and whether our analysis adds observable value to understanding the format in question.

Material Nature of Content

All content on this site is editorial and informational. It does not constitute professional advice of any kind — legal, financial, medical, or otherwise. Readers should not make decisions based solely on content published here.

Accuracy and Verification

We do not fabricate data, invent sources, or create fictional expert opinions. Where format conventions are described, the description is based on observable patterns in broadcast practice, not on undisclosed proprietary data or invented research.

If an error is identified in a published article, we will update the article and note the correction with a date. We do not silently alter published content after the fact.

Independence

No editorial content is produced under commercial arrangements. No advertiser, sponsor, or third party influences our editorial decisions. Our analysis is independent of any broadcast organisation.

What We Will Not Publish

• Fabricated data, invented sources, or fictional expert quotations
• Content that impersonates real media organisations or presents itself as official output from named broadcasters
• Financial or investment advice, consumer lending commentary, or product recommendations
• Content that makes unverifiable claims about named individuals
